About United Front Africa
Founded in 2022, United Front Africa is a youth-led non-profit organization working to accelerate sustainable peace and development in Northeast Nigeria through strategic partnerships, volunteerism, technology, and community-driven innovations. We seek to build a frontier of action to address the root causes of human insecurities, safeguard the rights of poor and vulnerable groups, improve livelihoods, and strengthen communities' resilience to climate change. Our work centers on developing and scaling innovative solutions, building new-generation changemakers, and working with key stakeholders to address the vicious circles of poverty, insecurity, corruption, and climate change.
Volunteer Categories:
Community Development: Support initiatives that aim to improve livelihoods, promote education, capacity development, and enhance community resilience.
Climate Action: Help raise awareness of climate change, encourage sustainable environmental practices, and promote community-led solutions to environmental challenges.
Social Justice:Advocate for social equity, inclusive governance, and the protection of vulnerable communities, with a focus on human rights and environmental justice.

Eligibility Criteria:
• Age: 15 - 25 years old• Location: Must be from one of the six states in Northeast Nigeria (Borno, Adamawa, Yobe, Gombe, Bauchi, Taraba)
• Commitment: A minimum of 6 hours per week for a period of 3 to 6 months
• Passion: Strong interest in community development, climate action, or social justice
• Skills: Effective communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities
• Education: Minimum of a National Diploma; young people at the early stage of their careers in the nonprofit sector are encouraged to apply
